Planning a school trip? Find all the practical information you need to organise your visit, including timings, facilities and booking information.
Timing
- The standard school visit runs from 10am-2pm (including the tour, workshop, and a break for lunch)
- Our tours run every 30 minutes so this can be flexible.
Group size
- Up to 35 students (1 class), or 65 students (2 classes) if booked with a workshop.
- One adult is admitted free with every 10 children, 1:5 for KS1.
- Free familiarisation visit available for group organisers.
For larger groups, please contact us to discuss how we can best accommodate you.
Price
- £12.95 per child (up to the age of 16) for a guided tour and a workshop.
- Additional workshop charged at £2.50 per child.
- Price per extra adult: £13.35.

Lunch
Schools booking a tour and workshop will have free use of the lunchroom as part of their visit.

Parking
A coach drop off point is located on Beaumont Street (westbound) – just outside the Playhouse (OX1 2LW). There is coach parking is available at Redbridge Park and Ride. For more details about coaches and a map of Oxford’s car parks and drop off points please visit the Oxford City Council website
