We can't wait to welcome you to Oxford Castle Prison! Here are a few things to know before you book.

Each tour has a capacity of 20 people so we recommend booking online to guarantee the tour time that you want and to avoid disappointment. We especially recommend booking in advance during the school holidays as our tours get booked up quickly!

We are open from 10am everyday, however our tour times change depending on what time of year it is. We close every year on 24th, 25th and 26th December. Click here to see our current opening times & prices.

Here's a few things to help you make the most of your visit.

Once you have booked you will receive a booking confirmation email confirming the date and time of your visit. Please email us at info@oxfordcastleprison.co.uk if you have not received this.

You can change or reschedule your booking here. 

No parking is available on site. We recommend using one of 5 Oxford Park and Rides which have frequent bus links into the city centre. For more details, please visit this page. 

Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of your tour slot so we can ensure that the tour begins on time.
